English Week

English Week is held from 24 March 2008 to 28 March 2008. Many activities and competitions are being conducted throughout the English Week like :

• Year 1 - Rhyme recitations Competition
• Year 2 - Spelling Bee
• Year 3 - Story Telling Competition and Poem Recitation
• Year 4 - Story Telling Competition
• Year 5 - Story Telling Competition
• Year 6 - Public Speaking Competition

Prize will be given to the first 3 winners of each class. Prizes will be given out on 31 March 2008 during the assembly which is also the Prize Giving Ceremony. The aim of having an English Week is to encourage students to speak English, participate in the activities and competitions and to show their talents in the various fields like story telling and speaking in public. These activities can raise the level of proficiency of English among students in the school.
